This Privacy Notice explains how Noewa collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Noewa mobile application and related services. Noewa is an emotional journaling and breathing guidance app designed to help users record mood check-ins, breathing practice, trigger factors, reminders, and related wellness reflections, with optional photos or stickers.
We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the app, provide features you choose to use, maintain security, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do NOT use your content for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law.

We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.
We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, content delivery, security, or other basic infrastructure operations necessary to run the app. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions.
Any such infrastructure provider is contractually bound to protect data security and confidentiality and is NOT permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond the services we instruct them to provide.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication mechanisms, logging, restricted personnel access, and secure infrastructure management.
Despite these efforts, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We encourage users to protect their devices, keep software updated, and avoid sharing sensitive information unnecessarily.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our data practices. When we make material changes, we may revise the effective date above and provide notice through the app, the App Store listing, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of Noewa after an updated notice becomes effective indicates acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Noewa may use AI-related processing only to provide app features requested by the user, such as generating result cards or organizing wellness content within the app experience.
All AI processing occurs on our own servers only.
We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data.
User-submitted content used for processing is handled only for the requested feature and temporary processing data is deleted after processing is completed.
We do NOT use user data, uploaded content, generated content, or behavioral data to train, fine-tune, or optimize AI or machine learning models.
We do NOT use AI processing for advertising, user profiling, or sale of data.

Providing certain information is optional, but some features may not work properly without it.
Your information may be processed or stored in countries or regions other than where you live, including where our servers or infrastructure providers operate. When international transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place, such as contractual safeguards and security controls consistent with applicable law.
Noewa is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 17 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information. If you believe a child under 17 has provided information to us, please contact us.
Noewa does NOT perform facial recognition.
Noewa does NOT perform biometric analysis.
Noewa does NOT create or store face templates, faceprints, or other biometric identifiers.
If a user chooses to upload a photo that contains a face, the image is processed only as ordinary visual content for the requested app feature. It is not used to identify a person, infer identity, or build biometric profiles. Temporary image data used during processing is deleted after processing is completed, except where the user chooses to save a generated result into app history.
By downloading, accessing, or using Noewa, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the collection, use, storage, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, please do not use the app.
